The truth about caffeine

A mug of tea contains 75mg of caffeine whilst mug of instant coffee contains 100mg. Brewed coffee contains significantly more with 140mg caffeine per mug.

Up to 300mg/day (six cups of tea) is considered moderate consumption of caffeine, with no evidence of harmful effects in the vast majority of the adult population. Research has shown that the low levels of caffeine in tea do not cause dehydration.
